First Ever Advance Course in Chiplun

Jai Gurudev!

Happy to share that in Chiplun we have organized an Advance Course from 11th – 14th March 2010 at Vindhyavasini Mandir. In fact this was the first ever Part II Course in Chiplun. And the experience was just awesome, amazing, stupendofantabulously fantastic!!

It is said that one cannot miss the knowledge points while organizing a course…..but one simply cannot miss the grace that flows, overtime, either. We just need to have utter conviction that it is possible no matter what the situation!

Art of Living Part I courses started in Chiplun from 2003. Till I came here in August 2009 (yes straight from Ashram after completing TTC) as many as 900 plus people had under taken the Part I Course. Devotees had taken the initiative to organize an advance course but somehow that didn’t materialize.

When we decided to have the First Ever Advance Course in Chiplun, many devotees were excited but skeptical, quoting past experiences……. Gradually work started and as the days grew near the only question our core team heard was “How many ???” , “Kitney aadmi hain?!”. We were having difficulty in getting to the minimum figure of 50 to make the course happen.

One day amidst discussions of whether this course will happen or not, in front of Guruji’s picture, comes a call from Bangalore, reassuring us that no matter how many people register, the course will happen since this is our maiden effort. And in that one day we had 10 registrations! One after the other the jigsaw puzzle started fitting in, registrations happened. People who were involved in work elsewhere had no choice but to come and complete the work for our Course as their work in other sites had stopped without any reason. All we could say was Jai Guru Dev!!

Bingo! the Course happened successfully which was commissioned by Advance Course teacher from Mumbai - Pankaj Mirgh ji with 32 participants - Bhaiya’s “Batiso barkarar!!!” :-)

Those who were pushed to do the course are ecstatic; those who wanted to do the course, and did it, are asking for more!! And the merry band of volunteers (including me) just can’t stop grinning!!!

Love N Regards,
Subhaashini
